Introducing the Assist API: product expertise for the agent you already built

Sep 8, 2026

The Frigade Assistant has always been an embed. You dropped it into your product and it became the thing your users talked to. If your team already built its own agent, that means two agents on screen and users who cannot tell which one to use.

The Assist API is for that case. Register Frigade as one tool, and a single tool call gets your agent an answer grounded in how your product behaves today, or a personalized walkthrough on the page the user is already on. Every turn routes through your agent, so there is no second chat box. If your agent can call a tool, it can call Frigade.

Those answers hold up because of how Frigade learns your product. A browser agent signs in with a real user's permissions, works through your workflows, and maps how the pieces connect. No documentation to write, no screenshots to take. It trains again every time you ship, so your agent is never describing a UI you already replaced.

You also get the platform underneath. Every conversation your agent handled through Frigade lands in the dashboard, where support and CX can correct a reply and steer how it responds, without engineering.

The Assist API is live now. Book a demo to get set up, or read why we built it: Your product can't explain itself.
